These winglets probably do divert some wind but not enough to be worth the trouble. There is a piece of clear plexiglas laying on the drawer of the toolbox on the left. I have designed a template and mounting system for mounting a windscreen extension inside this windscreen. Then when I have to sit on the bike for boring mile after boring mile I will flip it up and turn the breeze down (as it is, if I scrunch down it is totally silent behind this screen with my Hearos earplugs and Arai helmet). When in twisty country this screen is already higher than I would like, so a flip up system is the way to go for me. Re: featured article in Better Homes & Garages. A nice guy down the street is completely anal. Cleans the hell out of everything he owns all the time. You can eat off his bikes, his pickup truck and his garage floor. He gave me constant static about the unkempt appearance of my garage. The third time he came down to borrow a desparately needed tool I asked him if he thought I should get rid of 3/4ths of my stuff and get my garage all neat and tidy like his or had he grown fond of the less tidy garage with all the tools you'll ever need. Now that I've saved his ass 3 riding days in a row he says my garage looks like a million bucks.
